To put it simply, UX is important because it tries to fulfill the user’s needs. It aims to provide positive experiences that keep users loyal to the product or brand. Additionally, a meaningful user experience allows you to define customer journeys on your website that are most conducive to business success.

We humans are very predictable and it's not very hard to figure out how we behave and feel when we interact with the product or services.  Once you start to get your feet wet into UX and HCI (Human Computer Interaction), you will learn that certain things just works even if they don't make sense as our brains creates perceptions, biases and act in a certain way.
